Every Shield Pro DFW floor carries a written lifetime warranty. Not a "limited" warranty with asterisks designed to expire before your floor does — a straightforward promise from a local family business that plans to be here to keep it. Here's the whole thing, in plain English.
What's covered
Peeling & delamination
If the coating ever separates from your concrete, we repair it at no cost — for as long as you own your home.
Hot-tire pickup
Park hot tires on it daily. If the coating ever lifts or marks under normal vehicle use, it's covered.
UV yellowing & fading
Our topcoat is chemically UV-stable. If your floor ambers or fades in the Texas sun, we make it right.
Staining from normal use
Oil, automotive fluids, and household chemicals that won't clean off under normal use are covered.
Workmanship defects
Any failure traceable to our preparation or application is our responsibility — permanently.
What's not covered — honestly
A warranty you can trust tells you the edges. These are ours:
- Structural slab failure — major foundation movement, slab collapse, or cracking that breaks the concrete itself (we coat concrete; we can't stop geology).
- Physical damage — gouges from dragged sharp metal, welding burns, or deliberate abuse.
- Pre-existing moisture flooding — active water intrusion from drainage problems we flagged before installation.
- Normal wear — light scuffs and tire marks that wipe away with cleaning are maintenance, not defects.

We inspect
We schedule a visit, examine the issue, and confirm coverage on the spot. Most inspections happen within a week.
We fix it, free
Covered issues are repaired at zero cost — materials, labor, everything. That's what lifetime means.
Why we can offer this
Lifetime warranties only work if the product and the prep deserve them. Ours does both: industrial diamond grinding creates a mechanical bond epoxy installers skip, and 100% solids polyaspartic is engineered to outlast the slab beneath it. We're also local — based in Krum, serving all of DFW — so honoring a warranty costs us a short drive, not an excuse. You receive the written warranty at your final walkthrough. Keep it with your home documents; it stays valid for as long as you own the home.
